Ashling Cottage is set on 1.5 acres of heatherbeds and meadowland. Tastefully furnished with wooden floorboards and a cosy open fire. It makes an appealing place to return to after gentle country walks, or a day spent touring the ring of Kerry. The village of Glenbeigh is 3 miles and the glorious beach at rossbeigh is 3 miles.  A rural retreat , astounding views, lots  to do in the area.

Ideal picnic area on the grounds of the cottage at the river to the rear. Tranquil decking area provided fully equiped with furniture for complete relaxation, fishing, reading or just enjoying the sounds of the river.

Main bedroom: The main bedroom is very spacious and consists of a luxurious double sleigh bed with walnut locker, wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and bedroom chairs.

Bedroom 2: The second double bedroom has a wrought iron bed with antique pine dresser, wardrobe, mirror and chair.

Bedroom 3: The third bedroom has twin pine beds, pine dresser and stool ,mirror, wardrobe, and bedside lockers

Bathroom: 1 bathroom -Power Shower - no bath. Full tiled and heated.

GARDEN:

The garden consists (to the front of the house on the right side)of a variety of heathers and rockery, and to the left, a mulched raised bed of shrubs. To the back of the house is meadowland with a winding path to the river and picnic area at the very rear of the property.(there are two decks, one at the river and one attached to house.)

Rossbeigh Beach

Glenbeigh is probably best known for its golden blue flag unspoilt Rossbeigh beach, which lies on the outskirts of the village.  Rossbeigh beach stretches for seven glorious kilometers and truly is one of Ireland’s most beautiful beaches offering spectacular views across to Inch beach and the Dingle Mountains.  It is an ideal beach for swimming. windsurfing, sailing, horse-trekking, sailing, sea fishing, shore fishing and many other water sports and activities.

Directions

From Killarney, take the killorglin, ring of Kerry road. Go through Killorglin and on to the Glenbeigh on the N70. Drive through Glenbeigh and at the far side veer left in the Ring of Kerry direction. Approximately 1 1/2 miles from Glenbeigh you will come to a school on the left, followed by a narrow winding bridge. Continue on, taking the first left turn, which is 1 mile from the school. From here, take the first right turn ( 0.4 mile ). The cottage is the first on the right , you will have just crossed over a little bridge.
