The apartment also has a double pull-out bed and a single pull-out bed. The living space is bright and airy with an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, microwave and gas cooker and all other modern conveniences. The Apartment is secure front and rear with private parking. Extras COMPLIMENTARY with the apartment are: * 17ft fishing boat and engine * 2 fishing rods * 4 bicycles * Private slipway to launch boats. * WIFI CONG Cong is best known for the movie 'The Quiet Man' which was made in 1951. It was set in the beautiful west of Ireland with filming being centred around the village of Cong. Local attractions include horseriding, golf, angling, walks and mountain climbing. There are many places worth visiting in Cong including Cong Abbey, Inchagoill Island, Ashford Castle, The Dry Canal and The Caves. LOUGH CORRIB Lough Corrib is one of the best game fisheries in the world. It is a vast lake of 44,000 acres and stretches some thirty five miles from Galway City to Maam Bridge in Connemara. The fishing in the area is second to none. The season extends from 15 February to 30 September. The beauty of this property is that a boat, engine and fishing rods are provided FREE of charge. A salmon licence may be purchased locally. Lough Corrib is reputed to have 365 islands. Most famous of which is Inchagoill Island. On this Island, stand the ruins of an early Christian Monastic Church. Leisurely cruises go to and from this island on a daily basis. |
