Caher Lodge is a luxury 2 storey purpose-built golf lodge. Very spacious and beautifully laid out on private and secure grounds, it has panoramic views overlooking Bantry Bay and Glengarriff Harbour with the majestic Hungry Hill as part of the picturesque backdrop. Caher Lodge is privately owned and is situated in the middle of Bantry Bay Golf Course. Guests have exclusive use of their own indoor heating swimming pool, steamroom, tennis court, and outdoor putting green for the duration of their stay.
There is also a lovely outdoor heated bbq area.

Situated between the 14th green and the 15th tee at Bantry Bay Golf Club, and only 200 metres from the clubhouse, this 18 hole championship course was designed by Christy O'Connor Junior and is among the most challenging golf courses in all of Ireland.
The Lodge is designed to sleep up to eight adults, but can sleep a family of up to 11 comfortably in four en-suite rooms. The 3 rooms located upstairs have a king size bed and a single bed in each room. The fourth is a twin room located downstairs. Each bedroom is fitted with TV/Video (with CNN and sports channels), and wireless broadband. The two front-facing bedrooms upstairs have generous walk-out balconies so you can really enjoy the panoramic view of Bantry Bay and Glengarriff Harbour.
Linen and Towels are provided. A drying room is available for storage and drying of your sports/activity gear. All of the fixtures and furnishings are of the highest executive standard.

Whether it be golfing, fishing, or indeed, just a well-earned family break, you will not be disappointed in a Caher Lodge holiday and the range of activities available in the area. As well as the family size swimming pool, steam room, tennis court, & outdoor putting green, which are part of our complex, you can avail of Guided Hill-Walking Tours, Pony Trekking, Horse Riding, Fishing and Sea Angling, there are some excellent salmon rivers nearby, such as the Bandon, Ilen and Coomhola, and lakes too numerous to mention. The area also boasts Watersports and Adventure Centres, Stately Homes and Historical Sites. Add in some world famous restaurants, great pubs, excellent live music and loads of 'craic' and you can see . . . it really is time for a change!
