Caragh Lake and nearby blue flag Rossbeigh strand are very popular amongst game anglers, sea anglers, canoeists, windsurfers and swimmers. Dooks 18 hole links course which is located near Glenbeigh, provides a beautiful and tranquil environment to enjoy good golf.

A local attraction which is well worth visiting is the Bog Village. Situated between Glenbeigh and Killorglin, it takes you back to the 18th century for a glimpse of life as it was in the heart of the boglands.

And of course the Puck Fair in Killorglin in August and the summer races on Glenbeigh beach are highly entertaining if you happen to be in the area at the time.
