Carrick Plaza Suites is a development of two bedroom apartments located in the heart of the town of Carrick-On-Shannon in Co. Leitrim.  Each of the apartments can sleep up to 6 people in two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room.  The bedrooms can be made up as either double or twin bedrooms according to the requirements of your party.

The living rooms contain an Italian leather sofa bed with a 14cm mattress which can sleep 2 people and a three seater Italian leather sofa along with a 37' Phillips Flat screen TV with 15 digital channels.  An outdoor balcony leads off each of the living rooms and offers panoramic views of the River Shannon. There is free high speed broadband in all areas of the apartments.  There is a full dining table and chairs situated in the Living/Kitchen area.

The Golf Club is situated on the outskirts of the town of Carrick-on-Shannon – the cruising capital of Ireland. The golf course, a parkland course constructed to the highest USGA specifications, is located by the banks of the Shannon, patrolled by the Argina Mountains and is simply spectacular. It is an ideal location for your golf outing, be it a sociable fourball, society or corporate outing. It is an excellent 18-hole course with delightful diversity of scenery.There are some spectacular holes, not least the eight where the tee-box is surrounded by water, which require a carry-over of the Boyle River. The 13th hole is a frightening par 3 – just 200 metres “short” and has all the hallmarks of becoming rather special in Irish golfing folklore

The Miners Way & Historical Trail are a network of walking paths which wind their way through adjoining parts of Counties Leitrim, Roscommon and Sligo. The Miners Way follows many of the paths used by the miners in the Arigna coal mines. This section makes a circuit starting from Arigna and travelling via Keadue, Ballyfarnon and Corrie Mountain to return to Arigna. The Historical Trail section runs in a great loop, leaving the Miners Way at Keadue and running to Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Carrowkeel, Castlebaldwin, Highwood and returning to the Miners Way at Ballyfarnon. A third loop connects the Miners Way to Sli Liatroma and goes around Lough Allen by Drumkeeran, Dowra, Drumshanbo and back to Arigna.The Arigna Miners Way , including all links is 62kms(39 miles) in length and ascends some 1300 metres. The Historical Trail is 56kms(35miles) in length and ascends some 850 metres. They are most suitable for a weeks walking but the visitor can pick and choose which sections to walk. It links in with the Cavan Way at Dowra and thence to the Ulster Way.
