These modern holiday cottages on the outskirts of Dingle by the beach in Ventry.  These 9 modern, stylish, fully furnished, brightly decorated detached cottages with breathtaking views of the neighbouring mountains and the beautiful, quiet countryside will offer everything you need for the perfect holiday.

Each cottage contains a Hi-fi, DVD player, 28 inch TV, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, electric showers, oil fired heating and open fires. With wooden and tiled floors throughout the house, the majority of bedrooms are fitted with ensuites that contain showers or baths. They also have a spacious garden and patio area with their own private parking.

The cottages are located 5 miles from Dingle, which offers a wide range of Irish shops, restaurants and pubs, and is situated on a quiet, private development within 5 minutes walking distance of the neighbouring sandy beach.

Electricity for heating and lighting and fuel is an extra charge at €35.00 euro per week and is payable to the supervisor on arrival.

A security deposit of €200.00 must be given to the supervisor on arrival. This willbe returned to you on departure provided the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of the rental have been complied with.

Towels are not provided.

Access to leisure activities such as golfing, fishing, mountain hiking, surfing, wind surfing, horse riding and bike hire are just some of the many activities which are available for your convenience. You can also visit our famous friendly dolphin "fungi", who has been living in Dingle Harbour for 21 years. Daily trips to see the bottle-nose dolphin are available.

VENTRY

Ventry is a small village four miles west of Dingle. It is unusual in that it has two centres of commerce, both comprised of a pub and a shop. One has the Catholic church, and the other, in true balance, has the primary school. The whole Ventry area is linked by the arc of Ventry Harbour, with one of the most attractive and safest beaches on the west coast of Ireland.

Ventry is a great place to enjoy a seaside, rural holiday . . . or to just escape the bustle of Dingle town. 

ACTIVITIES

Ventry's sheltered harbour and three miles of sandy beach make it one of the most attractive and safest beaches on the west coast of Ireland. Safe swimming, windsurfing, canoeing, diving and sunbathing can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Jamie Knox's Focus Windsurfing School, based in Castlegregory, has equipment available for hire right at Ventry Beach, as well as offers tuition and conducts a Watersports Adventure Club during July and August for kids and teens.

There are many wonderful walks in Ventry and its surrounding area. The Dingle Way passes through Ventry, up Caherard Hill and then down to and along Ventry Beach before going on to Dunquin. Several locally produced guides and other books are available describing walks in Ventry.

Horseriding is available during the summer months on the beach, and Dingle Horseriding offer a half-day trek from Dingle town to Ventry Beach and back again.

During the summer, the local pubs, the Skipper Restaurant and Penny's Pottery Cafe offer a choice of good food throughout the day and evening.
