Joyces Waterloo House (Fáilte Ireland 4*) is a very large self-catering house located on the eastern side of Clifden Town in Connemara, Co. Galway.  Just a short walk from Clifden town centre, it offers groups or families a "town meets country" experience combined with all the modern comforts designed to meet all your holiday needs.

The house is situated on an elevated site with a southerly aspect allowing you to enjoy the lovely countryside views out the front.  It is located in a beautifully wooded valley, complete with a spate salmon river just a 100 meter walk from the house.

In all, Joyces Waterloo House can sleep up to 28 people but it is more suited for groups of 20 or less.  It was originally a Bed & Breakfast but has recently changed to a self-catering property. There are 10 bedrooms, 9 of which are fully ensuite.  Upstairs there are 8 bedrooms.  4 of the bedrooms to the front of the house have 6' king size beds with bay windows and balconies overlooking the garden.  All are fully ensuite with power showers.

To the rear of the house there are 2 queen size bedrooms each with a 5' queen bed and a 4'6" four poster bed.  These are also fully ensuite with power showers.

The fourth upstairs bedroom has bunk beds in it and has no ensuite bathroom, just a wash hand basin in the room.
Downstairs, there are two bedrooms.  There is one queen bedroom with a 5' Queen sized bed and a bay window overlooking the front of the house.  This room is fully ensuite with a power shower.  The other bedroom has a 6' King sized bed along with a large bathroom and shower/ bath.

These downstairs bedrooms can be very useful for those with mobility problems or for younger families.  All bedrooms have their own tv along with DVD/CD players, clock radio, direct dial phones and hairdryers.  All linen and towels are provided.  Heating and electricity are metered and are paid for at the end of your stay.

Outside, we have a beautiful hot-tub on an elevated level under the Oak trees.

€1000.00 euro damage security deposit must be paid IN CASH on arrival.  This will be refunded providing there are no breakages or damages to the house during your stay.

DIRECTIONS TO PROPERTY

An 80km drive from Galway City on the N59, Joyces Waterloo House is located just after Clifden Glen Holiday Village on the right.  If you come to the 60km speed limit sign, you have just missed the turn so turn back and you will see us on the left!

A 70km drive from Westport going south on the N59.  On entering Clifden town turn left at the T-Junction with Esso Petrol Station on the right.  Drive directly out the road until you come to a 100km speed limit sign.  You will see the Waterloo House sign on the left hand side just after this.

A non-refundable booking deposit of 10% of the rental rate is required on booking to secure your reservation.
