Mariners Cove is situated in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Baltimore in picturesque West Cork. This new development is within easy walking distance of all activities in the village yet still enjoys the tranquility of a peaceful countryside location. Baltimore, described as the jewel of the Southwest, is a busy fishing village with yachts and fishing boats arriving into the harbour quayside throughout the year. Carbery's 100 Isles provised a superb backdrop to this village which really comes alive with its great pubs, restaurants and shops supplying both local and continental fare.

Accommodation

These beautiful 3 bedroom houses have been designed to the highest standard and have all modern conveniences. They can accommodate up to 6 people in one double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a separate lounge area. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Electricity is meter read and payable on departure.  There is a security deposit of €100 requested on arrival but is refunded on departure as long as the cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition. The Security Deposit can be paid by credit card.

Local Activities

Local activities include fishing, sailing, walking, golf & swimming and boat trips out to the Islands. There is also a super selection of pubs and seafood restaurants in the area.

The Area:

Baltimore has a permanent population of just over 200 although it grows every summer with visitors who cannot help but return and who are now very much a part of local life.

Fishing and the sea have always played an important part in the history and economy of West Cork and Baltimore is well known as one of the best places in Ireland for watersports including sailing, windsurfing and deep sea diving.

With 4 traditional pubs, many restaurants, a seafood festival, a fiddle fair, ferries to the islands and much more, Baltimore has lots to offer the holidaymaker. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay at Mariner's Cove.
