These 24 holiday homes (available from the 15th April) are situated on the grounds of the Quality Resort (open seasonally) Killarney and are only a short stroll from Killarney Town Centre.  This exclusive development offers a refreshingly different blend of large luxury houses set in spacious landscaped green areas. The design is simple yet functional creating the perfect holiday setting.  

THE ACCOMMODATION

The development consists of twenty four 3-bedroom holiday cottages, each of which can accommodate up to 6 people in one Master double bedroom ensuite, one triple room (double & single bed) and one single room. One of the houses has an extra double bedroom ensuite downstairs and is fully wheelchair accessible with a roll in shower.    

Quality Resort Killarney Holiday Homes have been finished to a very high standard and cater for your every need. The open plan kitchen/dining room can accommodate 6 people and the kitchen is fitted with a four ring electric hob, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and dryer. The living room is furnished with a beautiful 3-piece suite and TV, DVD player and an electric fire.

In addition to our supervised kids clubs, we also have super family entertainment in the early evenings. The Fanzini Bros are extremely popular and present street-style theatre and circus entertainment. Sylvano the Magician is loved by all with his intriguing magic tricks. The children love him and are always enthralled with his trickery. We even run table quizzes, bingo and offer board games.

ELECTRICITY CHARGES PAYABLE ONSITE

Meters can be read in each holiday home and charged accordingly. Should you fail to read your meter you will be charged a fee of €10.00 per day / €50 per week.  Electricity is charged at 15 cents per unit. This is payable direct to The Quality Resort Killarney on your departure.

KILLARNEY

Killarney is without a doubt one Ireland’s finest and most beautiful tourist towns.  This picturesque town is nestled among deep, lake filled valleys and Ireland’s highest mountains – the MacGillycuddy Reeks.

The Town itself provides an incredible range of beautiful shops, leisure activities, a multiplex cinema and entertainment that will help you relax and unwind throughout the day and night and a huge selection of restaurants to tempt your taste buds.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

Golf

With its world famous golf courses including Killeen and O’Mahony’s Point, Killarney truly is a Golfer’s paradise.  Other famous Kerry courses such as Ballybunion, Ring of Kerry, Kenmare, Dooks and Tralee are all within a short drive of Killarney. 

Walking

Killarney provides both the rambler and serious walker with the ultimate in diversity. The choice of walks is endless, from the Kerry Way which is the country's longest way-marked trail, to the highest peaks in Ireland - the Macgillycuddy Reeks

Fishing

The Killarney Lakes are three in number, Lake Leane, Middle Lake and Upper Lake, all of which are all excellent for salmon and brown trout.  Boats and ghillies can be arranged.

Pony Trekking

Pony trekking is a very popular activity in Killarney.  Two of the most popular routes are through the National Park and the Gap of Dunloe Trek.  

Cycling

Killarney is the perfect place for cycling and bikes are available for hire on a daily or weekly basis.

Jaunting Cars

Killarney is famous for its horse-drawn Jaunting Cars which offer the visitor a novel means of touring the sights.

Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park is just a two minute drive from Muckross Holiday Village.  It consists of 25,000 acres of lakes, rivers, mountains, wildlife and walks where all year round you can commune with Nature without interruption.

Ring of Kerry

A trip to Killarney would not be complete without experiencing the Ring of Kerry scenic drive around the Iveragh Peninsula taking you through such quaint and picturesque towns as Killorglin, Cahirsiveen, Waterville, Sneem and Kenmare.
