These traditional looking cottages have a modern interior with all the comforts of home.  Located approximately 13 miles north west of Dungannon and 2 miles from the nearest village, you will never be far from the action, however, due to our country location, you will still be able to get away from it all to relax and unwind.

All of our cottages come complete with everything you could wish for to make your stay a pleasure, including a TV and DVD player to help keep the kids entertained on those rainy days!

Situated at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains, Sperrin View Cottages are surrounded by some of the best scenery you will find anywhere in Ireland.   

In all there are just eight cottages at Sperrin View.  Three of the cottages have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms comfortably sleeping a maximum of 6 people. Four of the cottages have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite) comfortably sleeping a maximum of 8 people. One cottage has 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite) comfortably sleeping a maximum of 10 people (available on request only).  All the cottages have an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, giving a spacious feel.

Tyrone has many famous attractions including the Ulster American Folk Park and many activities from paint balling, 4x4 driving, shooting, fishing, walking and horse riding to name a few.

The Cottages:

Crockrour Cottage

The front door and the view from your living room window looks across at the area named Crockrour. Crock translated from Gaelic is Hill and a local family name in that area is McCrory so it generally means the hill of Ruairi.

Slieve Beag Cottage

This Cottage looks over a typical Irish farmyard into an area called Slieve Beag. This is the Gaelic name for Wee Mountain or Small Mountain.

Tremoge Cottage

This Cottage is named after the area that Sperrin View Cottages is situated. It is also the name of the road that runs past the cottages. It means Steep Rocky Little Elder Tree.

O Mhoalachain Cottage

This Cottage is situated in the centre of the property and is named after the owners the O Mhaolachain Family.

Cabhan a Chaorthainn Cottage

This Cottage stares straight into the village of Pomeroy. Pomeroy was an English name put on an area formally known as Cabhan a Chaorthainn. Its meaning is Little Hill of the Rowan Tree.

Gort na Garn Cottage

This cottage looks across at the beautiful farm lands of Gortnagarn. Gortnagarn means the Field of Stone Heaps.

Sluggan Cottage

Sluggan Cottage is named after an area which compliments all the surrounding landscape with immense beauty and is partly forested.

Portach Cottage

This Cottage is named Portach after the Irish word for Bog. This Cottage is situated on the edge of acres of beautiful brown heather bog banks.
