Sunhill House Situated on a hill overlooking the beautiful countryside, Killorglin is home to many lively pubs and fine restaurants. The property, located in the extreme southwest of Ireland, has views of the spectacular McGillycuddy Reeks and is an ideal base for touring the rugged Dingle Peninsula, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. This location is a gateway to magnificent Blue Flag beaches, world famous golf courses, historical sites, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, ,mountain climbing and walking routes all in a magnificently beautiful environment.

THE ACCOMMODATION

Sunhill  House is a detached 5 bedroom holiday home set on a half acre of private garden offering spectacular views of Killorglin, and the McGillycuddy Reeks - all the rooms in this house overlook the countryside. Ideal for families, this holiday home can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 double bedrooms.

Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, one en suite and the other 3 are located on the first floor. Also one en suite. There is a bathroom on both floors with bath, separate shower, w.c. and sink.

There is an open plan living area which includes a lounge with dining table, a large beautiful conservatory, where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views, a living room, a kitchen with 4 plate hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher. There is an open fireplace  in the living room where the television is located. There is also a utility room with washing machine and drier. The house is heated with oil fired central heating.

The town of Killorglin is 1 km away and offers a selection of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs where you can find lively traditional music sessions, shops and supermarkets. The town also hosts the famous festival  of Puck Fair during the month of August.

• There is no fee for bringing along your pet but the owner respectfully asks that it is kept to the tiled areas.

• Dooks Links Course(5kms),
• Killarney (20kms) and
• Ballybunion (50kms)

are easily accessible with numerous other golf courses nearby.There is a good taxi service available in the area so if you wanted to Walk into Killorglin for the evening you can get a taxi home.

Killorglin and the surrounding areas is an extremely scenic  area on the southern tip of Ireland. Located near to Killarney, Caherciveen, Waterville and Valentia, the entire area is steeped in history and is an ideal base to experience Kerry and in particular South Kerry. Activities adjacent to Killorglin include:·

DIRECTIONS·

 From Killarney travel to Killorglin (20kms). · When you arrive in Killorglin town, cross over the bridge take first right. · Travel on this road keeping the church on your right hand side, until your reach a small roundabout· Take the third exit off this roundabout.· Continue on the Sunhill road for approximately 1km until you get to Sunhill house on your left hand side.
