The Cloisters Waterville is a gated development of 12 luxury, fully-furnished holiday homes. These beautiful homes are available all year around & are ideal for families or a group of friends for short or extended stay.

There are four bedrooms in total:

Three double rooms with one ensuite, and 1 twin room with two single beds.  There is also a main bathroom.

Heat and electricity is an extra charge. June/ July and August it is set at 8.00E per day. During the rest of the year it is 10.00E per day.

Pets can only be brought on a request basis, you do need to contact Dream Ireland to check this prior to making booking. There is an extra charge of 30.00E payable per pet on departure.

Waterville, located in the famous 'Ring of Rerry', is an idyllic beach town found between Lough Currane and Ballinskelligs Bay and can boast some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country. For those who enjoy the outdoors, exploring the coast and mountains, activities such as water sports, horse-riding or golf, you will be perfectly positioned to do all these pursuits at 'The Cloisters'.   

Waterville is nestled between Cahersiveen & Caherdaniel providing you with an excellent base for touring the rest of the South West Kerry.. Sailing in Cahersiveen, scuba diving in Caherdaniel, visiting the Skelligs from Portmagee, exploring the famine village of Ballinskelligs. The famous Waterville Golf Links is nearby and the Skellig Bay Golf & Country Club. Waterville is a quaint seafront village with shops, friendly bars and award winning restaurants.

THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA:

•  DOOLEYS SEAFOOD AND STEAK RESTAURANT: This stylish, purpose-built restaurant, which overlooks Waterville Bay, was designed by local architect Albert Walsh. Its warm interior combines original artwork on the walls, subdued lighting, chairs covered in red and green shades, a copper candelabra and mirrors framed with driftwood. Choose from dishes on its varied menu such as Kerry lamb, Sneem black pudding on sauteed sweet apples with cider sauce; home baked breads and Irish farmhouse cheeses. • Ballinskelligs Watersports: At Ballinskelligs Watersports the visitor can choose between a day trip by boat to the Skellig Islands, diving at the Skellig islands or sea angling.The day trip lands at Skellig Island for approximately 2 hours, and leaves from Ballinskelligs pier at 11am daily. A non landing trip around the island leaves at 3.30 each afternoon in July and August. Sea Angling and high speed adventure trips to Skelligs are also on offer, taking approximately 25 minutes each way. www.skelligsboats.com

• BEACHES: Waterville boasts its own sandy beach & in close driving proximity you will find:  Ballinskelligs Blue Flag Beach renowned for its miles of golden beach and turquoise water. For sports lovers, Ballinskelligs is an ideal location, offering world class water sports from windsurfing to sea angling.  Ballinskelligs Regatta is held every year in the village and also Derrynane Beach Blue Flag Beach Activities include, kayaking, canoeing, horse-riding, diving or simply stroll along the golden sands.
