This dormir style detached house is 3 years old & is on an elevated site overlooking the picturesque town of Louisburgh in Co. Mayo. It is within 1km walking distance of the town. Louisburg itself is a small town tucked away between the Mweelrea mountains and the sea, situated at the mouth of the Bunowen River. Louisburg leads to some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, Carrowniskey, Carramore, Silver Strand and Old Head.

The road to Roonagh Quay runs directly from the house, Ferries from Roonagh Quay will bring you to Clare Island, views overlooking Clare Island and Clew Bay can be seen from the front of the house, the back garden looks over the Mweelrea Mountains.

The House:

Comprising 2 x double bedrooms downstairs (1 with ensuite shower) & 2 x double bedroom upstairs (1 with ensuite shower & bath) this house is ideal for families. The spacious open plan living/dining & kichen area enjoys spectacular views over Clew Bay & has a cosy open fireplace.  The Kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences & the house is heated by Oil central heating. For younger members of your party a snooker table is provided in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Please note: The owners of this property will accept only family bookings, adults & children.

Linen & towels supplied. Heating & electricity is payable onsite at €5 per day.

The Garden:

This house is on a half an acre site and has a lovely patio area with Stone BBQ & garden furniture. The garden is fenced off but not fully enclosed.

PETS WELCOME ON REQUEST:

Your pet is welcome at this property but must this must be requested at time of booking. The owners respectfully ask that pets are kept within the large utility area or Kitchen. An additional charge of €30 is payable onsite if you're brining along your pet.

For eating out and socializing there are numerous pubs and restaurants in the Louisburg town, There is a taxi service in Louisburg and Westport that will bring you 28km To Westport town were you will find plenty of bars, fantastic restaurants, music venues cinema and golf coarse.
