Gazing out the front windows of the house, feast your eyes on the highest mountain range in Ireland, the McGillicuddy Reeks, which tower over the picturesque town of Kenmare and Kenmare Bay. From this fantastic point you can literally gaze as far as the eye can see uninterrupted. 

The house, which is located at the end of a secluded road, comprises a sitting room, dining room and kitchen, all overlooking Kenmare Bay. There are five bedrooms, all en suite with Italian marble bathrooms, all beautifully furnished as The Green is a part of the internationally acclaimed five star resort hotel, Sheen Falls Lodge. Additional facilities include a fully equipped utility room and another sitting room upstairs located between two of the bedrooms, ideal as a playroom for children. 

There are five bedrooms in this house - three double bedrooms and another two bedrooms with beds that can be made up as one large double bed or two single (twin) beds.  There is a sofa bed in the downstairs double bedroom which is suitable for a child.  In the kitchen/ lounge area there is another sofa bed suitable for 2 children or one adult to sleep on.  If required, an extra rollaway bed can be placed in either of the other two double bedrooms.

Only a few minutes walk from the hotel the Green offers the opportunity to small family, golfing or corporate groups to enjoy more living space and privacy than staying in the main hotel whilst still availing of all of the hotel facilities.

The Estate, cradled between the Caha Mountains and the Kenmare Bay, hosts a multitude of historic tales.  The ruins of a tiny church, known to date back to Viking times, can be found to the west of the Estate along with a Holy Well near the foreshore reputed to have distinctive healing properties.

Welcome to the Health Club at Sheen Falls Lodge, Kenmare. The philosophy here, at the Health Club is to provide our guests with an escape from the stresses of every day life. It's a place where you can indulge in tranquil surroundings allowing you to relax, revitalise and invigorate your mind & body.

Soft classical music or the renditions of Jim Kiely (resident pianist) may be echoing softly throughout the Health Club where you can close your eyes and drift calmly into alpha theta phase quite happily.

The Health Club involves all of the senses, with extraordinary effects; through touch, smell, sight, hearing and taste, the effects of the treatment reach the most profound states of mind, and finally reach the fantastic level of relaxation.  The Health Club at the 5 star Sheen Falls Lodge has chosen YonKa as our signature beauty line. We offer Massage Therapy  with Aromatherapy body massages, Swedish massages and Reiki amongst others. The Health Club also offers Face Treatments, Body Treatments and Beauty Treatments and extensive Fitness Facilities which includes an indoor swimming pool (15 metres), a gymnasium, a spacious Jacuzzi and a Sauna.

DATES THAT HOTEL AND LEISURE FACILITIES CLOSED AT SHEEN FALLS IN 2011-12

From the 6th November onwards, the Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel and Leisure Facilities are only open at weekends (Friday and Saturdays). However there is someone onsite Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm so can facilitate checkins during this time.

For December, again the Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel and Leisure Facilities are only open at Weekends (except the 16th and 17th Dec) . However there is someone onsite Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to facilitate checkins.

The Hotel is opening for Christmas on the 23rd December and is closing again on the 30th December until the 10th February 2012. No bookings will be taken between 30th December 2011 and 10th February 2012.

From 10th February until the 6th April 2012, the hotel and leisure facilities are only open at weekends (Friday and Saturdays).
However there is someone onsite Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm so can facilitate checkins during this time.

The Hotel re-opens full time for the Season on the 6th April 2012.
