The Moorings is a small and exclusive holiday homes development in a delightful location overlooking the River Ilen on the Schull Road in Skibbereen, Co. Cork. It takes just 5 minutes to walk from The Moorings into Skibbereen Town. In all there are 10 Detached houses in the development. Nine of the houses have 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people in 1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedroom and a single bedroom. The double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower and all bedrooms are located upstairs. The main bathroom is also located upstairs and has a bath/shower. Downstairs is a guest toilet with doors wide enough for wheelchair users to get through. All of the houses have:
Wheelchair Accessible House:There is one four bedroom house that can accommodate up to 7 people and is fully wheelchair accessible. Downstairs is a twin bedroom with ensuite fully wheelchair adapted bathroom. Upstairs are three other bedrooms (1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedroom and 1 x single bedroom). Pets WelcomePets are welcome on request and we have two dog boxes available for use during your stay. We would kindly request that pets be kept downstairs and away from the bedrooms and that they sleep outside. An additional charge of €25 euro per pet per stay will apply, this is payable onsite to the caretaker. LEISURE CENTRE ACCESS FOR GUESTS STAYING AT THE MOORINGS:We're delighted to advise that The Moorings Holiday Homes have an agreement in place with Harbour View Hotel & Leisure Centre in Schull which is just 11 miles drive from Skibbereen. Guests have the following options:
