Facilities
Cuan na Rí is a beautiful development of holiday homes located on a 175 acre site in Sheephaven Bay, Co Donegal. There is direct private access to two kilometres of gently sloping sandy beach at the Inner Beach and also to Tra Mor beach and the exceptionally sheltered Bay that extends from Lackagh Bridge on the Creeslough/Carrigart Road to the Ards Peninsula in Sheephaven Bay. This Bay is ideal for all water sports including sailing, canoeing, surfing, kayaking and catamaran sailing. During low tide the beach is ideal for the use of kite-buggies, power kites and land-boards. There is also an onsite outdoor children's playground for exclusive use by guests of Cuan na Rí. We have two types of holiday homes at Cuan na Rí. All of the houses are incredibly spacious and filled with natural light. They have wooden floors throughout but cosy carpets in the bedrooms for maximum comfort. Semi-Detached Villas: The semi-detached villas are 1260 sq ft in size with two floors. The ground floor is home to the large open plan living cum dining area kitchen as well as the light-filled conservatory. There is a guest toilet downstairs. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms - two x double bedrooms and one x single bunkbed bedroom. The master double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower and there is also a family bathroom upstairs with bath. These villas can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. Detached Villas: The detached villas are larger than the semi-detached at 1388 sq ft. The layout of these houses is different in that there are two bedrooms downstairs (one x double and one x twin bedroom) along with the open plan living cum dining area and kitchen. These villas also have a conservatory off the main living space. The main family bathroom is located close to the bedrooms downstairs. Upstairs is the third and master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and there is large gallery which looks down over the living space below. CUAN NA RI is now PET FRIENDLY!!! So all the family can go away together! No need to leave the dog behind this summer. There is an additional charge of €30.00 per pet payable onsite.CUAN NA RILocated on the beautiful coast of Donegal in the North West of Ireland, the Resort comprises some 188 acres of land with extensive sea frontage and golden gently sloping sandy beaches. Dublin can be reached in about a three-and-a-half hour drive time. Donegal is now well recognised as a destination for a range of activities including golf (three championship links courses in relative close proximity), equestrian, hiking, angling and watersports. Your heat and electricity is an extra charge of 8.00E per day payable on departure. You are also required to give a security deposit of 200.00E on arrival onsite, this is fully refundable as long as the supervisor is happy that the terms and conditions have been complied to.
