LOCATION:Located in the heart of the world-famous Burren, this charming self-catering cottage is located in the village of Bellharbour, approximately 3.5 miles (6 km) outside Ballyvaughan. No.3 Burren Cottages is truly a comfortable base from which to explore Ireland’s Ailwee Caves, Corcomore Abbey and the world-famous Cliffs of Moher. The cottage is very popular with hill walkers and those touring the coasts of Clare and Galway, it is one of 8 individual cottages & each one is set on a half acre plot. BELLHARBOUR VILLAGE:The village of Bellharbour is located on an inlet of Ballyvaughan Bay, on the Burren coastal route. A vist to Daly's pub, just 5 minutes walk from the cottage is highly recommended after a day in the outdoors.. BALLYVAUGHAN:Ballyvaughan is nestled between the mountains of the Burren and the sea, on the southern shore of Galway Bay. It is known as the Capital of the Burren. Its a great place for peace and tranquility, those who look for traditional music and old pubs, for the archaeologists, botanists and fishermen. Families will also enjoy the safety of the beach in Bishops Quarter & surfers will love the waves in nearby Fanore & Lahinch. Hillwalking and cycling are among the most popular pastimes among locals and tourists alike. VISITOR ATTRACTIONSThe Cliffs of Moher: Approx 30mins drive (27km) from Bellharbour are the world renowned Cliffs of Moher.
