Glendree cottage is a few minutes drive from Tulla and Feakle is ideal for families and fishermen who want to be self sufficient here in County Clare, Ireland.
Perfect for anglers who want to fish on our own east Clare lake or in the surrounding area. The house comes with its own 19ft lake boat and trailer (for FREE use of our guests) which can be launched on any of the many surrounding lakes including Lough Derg which is only 25 minutes drive away.
We are only 45 minutes from the coast. An extensive range of terminal tackle is available in our bait and tackle store a few minutes away our Clondanagh Angling Centre.
So come fishing in the heart of the east Clare lakelands, try a walking holiday, come birdwatching or kayaking and stay in our fully equipped cottage near Tulla with all the benefits of being self contained but with fishing, activities and pubs close at hand.
GLENDREE COTTAGE
A lovely Failte Ireland approved two-story cottage in the heart of the east Clare lakelands between the villages of Tulla and Feakle with private access to 15 local lakes that have tench, bream, roach, rudd, hybrids, pike and perch. Private fishing on Clondanagh lake and free use of rowing boat and fishfinder (on Clondanagh). Expert advice available and prebaiting by prior arrangement.
Three bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. A fully fitted kitchen and living area.
ADDED VALUE:The owners of Glendree cottage have a B&B nearby which faces onto Clondanagh Lake & 2 sit-on-top Kayaks are available free of charge to guests. Wet suits, life jackets and buoyancy aids are also included and weather permitting there is lots of fun in store for visitors who have experience in kayaking. A range of bicycles to suit both adults and children are also available free of charge to our guests. Safety helmets for children also provided. Also a wide range of rain-gear & wellingtons are available for guest use.. TRADITIONAL MUSIC
The house has featured in 'The Kitchen Sessions' is a unique series of traditional music radio programmes broadcast live from homes in County Clare. The area is steeped in traditional music and this makes a great base for local music and festivals such as Feakle Festival.
