Dunmore East Holiday Cottages is a cluster of 35 self-catering Holiday cottages residing in a peaceful and picturesque setting. The Cottages were built in the 1980's in traditional style & are just a five minute stroll from the beautiful seaside town of Dunmore East.
Each of the cottages is designed to combine comfort and practicality. The open plan kitchen/dining and lounge areas are very spacious and full of light. The lounge is furnished with a suite of wicker furniture, open fireplace and colour TV. The fully-fitted kitchen/dining area is equipped with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and all necessary kitchen utensils and crockery. Please note that these houses are very traditional in style and due to their age, they are much more basic in their fit out than many of our other newer properties.
There are two bedrooms downstairs, one double with en-suite facilities and one twin room. In addition, there is a separate toilet/shower downstairs. The third bedroom is a mezanine style (open balcony) twin room located upstairs. All bedrooms have good storage space. The cottages are heated with Gold Star Electric central heating and there are storage heaters in each room. All bed linen is provided. Bed linen is provided, please bring along your own towels & cot linen.
ONSITE CHARGES:

There is a utility charge for heating & esb: €5 per day in July & August and €9 per day at all other times. This is payable directly to the keyholder onsite.

On arrival a security deposit of €100 is required, this is a damage deposit with is refundable on departure..

PET FRIENDLY:
We're delighted to advise that these cottages will accept house trained pets, but please advise us when you're booking. Guests are respectfully asked to keep their pets in the tiled area of the houses. An additional cleaning fee of €30 applies & is payable directly to the key-holder Shirley.
ENCLOSED GARDENS:
4 of the cottages on this development are completely enclosed, please enquire when making your booking and mention if you have requested a pet friendly property.
ACTIVITIES IN THE DUNMORE EAST AREA:
Dunmore East is the perfect base for anyone holidaying in East Waterford. Many activities can be found in the vicinity of the Village and many more are but a short drive away. Golf, Sailing, Adventure Sports and Horse Racing are among the most popular activities with visitors.
1. Golf: Five championship golf courses are located near Dunmore East making the village a perfect base for anyone on a golfing holiday.
2. Scenic Drives: A magnificent scenic drive from Dunmore East along the edge of Waterford Harbour to the small villages of Passage East and Cheekpoint, 11 to 12 km up-river. Many places of historical interest may be seen on this drive.
3. Waterford: Tramore Racecourse; This historic Irish Racecourse provides the South-East with some of the finest horse racing in Ireland, nine times each year.
