Willie Clancy Festival Week in Milltown Malbay holds a dear and regular spot on any practising or aspiring traditional musician. It is a week long event running from the 6th-14th July and is packed full of traditional Irish events such as set dances, Ceili's, concerts, recitals, lectures, classes and workshops which run all through the day. Be on the lookout for spontaneous sessions "seisuins" in the local hostelries as musicians take up alongside oneanother to the delight of the onlookers.
