This is a major visitors attraction - from the pit where the ancient bones of a bear were discovered, to Mud Hall, the calcite formations of the Great Cascade or the stalagmites and stalagtites of Midsummer Cavern.
There is a cafe and a craft shop on site and beautiful walks and mountain trails which leads through lovely scenery and varied flora.
With the rest of The Burren on the doorstep, and the Bird of Prey Centre on site too, this makes a wonderful location to base yourself for touring around Co. Clare.
