Gallan Eile has been finished to a very high standard. It was once part of the larger main family home of the proprietors, Frank and Siobhan Lewis, but since their children have grown up and left the nest, they decided to open half of their home to guests. Gallan Eile comprises the old bedroom block of the main house and every bedroom enjoys spectacular views as you can see from the photos.
While Gallan Eile and the main house Gallan are still connected via a glass conservatory, the two houses are completely independent of one another and you will enjoy absolute privacy during your stay.
The garden is quite steeply sloped to take advantage of the setting at the foot of the mountain and the views, so young children would need to be supervised during your stay.
There are three bedrooms - one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and one double and one single bedroom sharing another bathroom. In all, Gallan Eile can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and there is a television in the living area. While broadband is indeed available, the owners are working on finding a way to improve the signal they are receiving.
The owners of this property can offer their guests a wealth of information on everything about the area, the walks, the people, the history and so much more and should you wish, you could learn so much from them during your stay.
