Description
Heather Cottage is a detached bungalow based near the town of Creeslough in County Donegal. It has three bedrooms including two doubles and a twin room, there is also a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area as well as a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. To the outside there is ample off road parking as well as a surrounding lawn. Heather Cottage is a great place for a family to come and enjoy a holiday in the Irish countryside.

LOCATION
Creeslough in County Donegal is within easy reach of the Glenveagh National Park. The village is within access of Letterkenny, which has a museum and there's shops, pubs and places to eat. Whilst making Creeslough your base make sure that you explore Glenveagh National Park. A number of walks can be enjoyed, after which take a tour of the castle, or enjoy tea and cakes, whilst to the northern edge of Lough Beagh is a visitor centre housing a restaurant. There are hills in the area, which once you’ve climbed or walked up, boasts views of the Atlantic Ocean. There’s also rivers, loughs, historical and religious sites in abundance throughout this part of County Donegal. In the area are beaches, whilst further afield is Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland, and across the border is the city of Derry. A convenient base for exploring all that Donegal has to offer.
This well equipped, cosy holiday home is located 2 miles from Creeslough village on Donegal's Wild Atlantic Way, a short walk from Carrick Lake with the surrounding countryside dominated by the majestic Muckish Mountain. There are a number of beautiful sandy beaches a short drive away (all within 10 min) as is Glenveagh National Park & Ards Forest Park, also Dunfanaghy Golf Club and Rosapenna Golf Resort both in north west Donegal with stunning coastline scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way.
