Is the price per person or per house?

All Dream Ireland homes are priced on a per house basis & include the stated number of persons each house can hold.


Do I need to bring my own bed linen? 

Unless specifically state, all houses and apartments featured on our website are supplied with duvets and all bed linen. Many of our homes also provide towels. Guests will need to bring bed linen for travel cots if requested.


What facilities are available in the house?

Unless specifically stated, all houses and apartments on our website provide fully equipped kitchens, most of which include microwaves and dishwashers. For the most part, washing machines and tumble dryers are in the properties, however there are some exceptions. Almost all homes have a TV in the living rooms.A travel cot and highchair can also be pre-booked with Dream Ireland for use at most of our properties prior to arrival.

Some properties have a charge of approximately €15 euro per cot and highchair. A cot and highchair is subject to availability at each location. Please note that not all our properties provide a cot and highchair. Please note that at the majority of our properties, the cots provided are travel cots with a travel cot base - we do not supply an additional mattress.


Is there an additional charge for electricity/gas/oil?

Yes, electricity/gas/oil in the majority of cases are an additional charge payable to the onsite caretaker. In many cases it is charged according to meter readings taken on your arrival and again on your departure and are based on a charge per unit. In other cases, the energy is a fixed daily charge - some properties require that you pre-pay this charge to Dream ireland at the time of booking and others require that this charge be paid to the caretaker onsite. Please enquire with Dream Ireland Reservations team if you require clarification.


How early do I need to book?

We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.


Do I require a credit card to book online?

Yes if you wish to make a booking on line a credit card or a PayPal account is required.  In the event of you not possessing either, we will hold your booking for 7 working days until we receive the appropriate deposit by bank transfer.  


When do I pay in full for my holiday?

In most cases, the balance of monies payable for your stay is expected 6 weeks prior to your arrival.  Some larger and more expensive properties may require full payment to be made further in advance.  We will inform you at the time of booking should this be the case.


Is there a handling fee to make a booking?

Yes, a handling fee of €49 euro applies to every booking whether it is made online or over the phone. This is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable under any circumstances.


What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservation? 

Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by phone or email.

In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable but in certain circumstances they may be used for a booking at another stage. In the event of a no-show we are obliged to hold all monies paid to us. In the event where the balance has not been paid we will charge the full amount of your stay to your credit card.


In event of cancellation the following charges will apply:

  1. Booking deposit is non refundable
  2. 6 to 2 weeks before date of arrival 50%
  3. 2 weeks or less before arrival 100%
  4. Refunds to credit cards are also liable to a 1.5% deduction.

What facilities are available in the locality?

Many Dream Ireland properties are located in either seaside or lakeside settings with numerous activities and attractions nearby.  Some properties are located in the grounds of Hotels with leisure facilities on site.  Please enquire with Dream Ireland Reservations for a full list of facilities both onsite and locally.


What time can I check-in?

On receiving your balance of payment we will send you an information page containing the name and number of your supervisor along with certain rules.  Check-in time is normally from 4pm onwards, however we do ask that you phone ahead the day before your arrival to give your supervisor an indication of your check in time. If you require an early check-in this must be arranged with your supervisor.


What time do I have to check-out?

Check-out time is strictly 10am during the Summer months of July & August. At other times we try to be as flexible as possible. Late check outs must be pre-arranged with the onsite supervisor.  We ask that houses be left as they were found.


Do I have to pay a security deposit?

Yes, a security (or damage) deposit  is required to gain access to our Dream Ireland properties.  It is required to cover any breakages or damage that may occur during your stay. This deposit will be returned to you in full on your departure providing that the houses are left in a clean and tidy condition. (In some cases your security deposit will be returned to you by post or refunded to your account within 14 days of departure).  The amount of this security deposit differs among properties and we will inform you of the amount that will be required at the property you book with us.  A full set of terms & conditions will be issued on receipt of final payment of your holiday.


Can I stay for 2-3 days or is it weekly letting only?

Yes our minimum requirement is 2 nights stay. This can be weekend or midweek (depending on availability) except for the months of July & August where at many of our properties the norm is to let on a weekly basis only.


Can I take a pet along?

Yes, a wide range of our properties accept pets. Can I purchase a gift voucher for Dream Ireland Holiday Homes?

Yes, you can buy Gift Vouchers for any denomination from €50 up.  Vouchers are open and can be used towards any Dream Ireland location. Can I use One4All Gift Cards and Vouchers to pay for my holiday?

Yes, we are happy to accept One4all vouchers to a maximum value of €500.00 euro on any one, or a combination of more than one voucher.  Unfortunately we cannot accept anything more than this €500 euro limit in this form of payment.  We do not offer the facility for you to use these vouchers online so please call us on 064 66 41170 and we can process the transaction over the phone for you.
