Description
Overlooking Pollan Beach on the Inishowen Peninsula in Co Donegal, this five bedroom cottage is ideal for your break away with family or friends. It is surprisingly spacious, as from the outside, you would never think that it was large enough to accommodate up to 12 people. The views are spectacular and you can stroll to the beach in less than 10 minutes.
This is a bungalow so is all on the one level. It is very well equipped for your holiday needs. The kitchen has all the appliances you would require along with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cookware and glasses. There is a washing machine but no tumble dryer. In saying that, a couple of hours out on the line blowing in the sea breeze will soon have the washing dry! On damp days, there is a clothes horse for indoor drying.
All five of the bedrooms have a king-sized bed which can be split into two single beds if required (zip ‘n link). Two of the bedrooms also have a single bed in them. There is just one bathroom in the house so you’ll have to take turns! It has both a bath and a separate shower in it.
The sitting room has TV and open fire and there is a dining area with a large table and great sea views from the windows surrounding it.
Outside is some garden furniture and a BBQ so you can site out and enjoy the long summer evenings.
This is a pet-friendly house but you need to let us know please at time of booking that you will be bringing your dog.
Wifi is available free of charge during your stay and bed linen and towels for use within the house are provided. We would ask that you bring along your own towels to be used at the beach please.
The closest village is Ballyliffin and it is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage. It is home to both the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa, which is very popular for weddings, and also Ballyliffin Golf Club.
