It is claimed to be one of the hardest middle distance races on the triathlon circuit and is both nationally and internationally recognized and all the lucky competitors will get the chance to swim 1900m in the beautiful Kenmare Bay, then onto a 83km cycle through the unspoiled mountains of the Caha and Healy passes, finished off with a 21km run on the quiet country roads surroundings Kenmare town. And guaranteed there will be an abundance of awe inspiring scenery here to uplift you in your tougher moments.
