Even strolling around the town is itself a pleasure with Kenmare having received awards from Entente Floral and the award for the Tidiest Town in Ireland in the year 2000.  Kenmare was recently awarded the accolade of Ireland's best kept town on the whole island of Ireland and deservedly so!
