Ard na Mara 7 is part of a superb private development of 4* holiday homes in the popular tourist town of Dingle, Co. Kerry.  Located just a short stroll from the town centre this is the perfect spot to enjoy a break in Dingle.

This is a large and spacious 3 bedroom holiday home of 4* standard.  Ard na Mara 7 consists of 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people in one master double bedroom ensuite (upstairs), one twin room with ensuite facilities and a twin bedroom both downstairs . There is a third bathroom downstairs.  Ard na Mara 7 has been fitted out and equipped with the very highest quality furniture and fittings catering to your every need. The open plan kitchen/ dining area contains all modern conveniences including electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and washer/ dryer. The lounge area has been tastefully decorated and contains a cosy suite of furniture, colour television, stereo and welcoming open fire. Please note these houses have Saorview channels only.

These holiday homes are perched on a site overlooking Dingle Bay and Harbour and some of the houses offer wonderful seaviews.  Each house has a large private partially enclosed back garden with garden furniture positioned to gain maximum enjoyment from the long summer's evenings.

Sailing

Dingle has its own resident Dolphin "Fungi" and boat trips leave Dingle pier all day, every day, all year round to see him wild and free in his natural habitat.

Golf

Ceann Sibeal Golf Links in Ballyferriter (7 miles from Dingle), set in the splendid scenery of the Dingle Peninsula and overlooking the historic Blasket Islands, is Europe's most westerly golf course. 

Beaches

The Dingle Peninsula boasts some wonderful sandy beaches including the beautiful beach at Ventry and the massive Inch Beach.  

Walking

The Dingle Way (153km/95 miles) circles the Dingle Peninsula from Tralee Bay to Inch Beach to Dingle Bay.

VISITOR ATTRACTIONS

Dingle Oceanworld - Mara Beo

This is a fascinating Aquarium featuring all sorts of creatures from the deep. With Daily informative talks while staff members feed the resident sharks and penguins, the ever popular "touch tank" where little visitors delight at the friendly Thornback rays amoung other sociable sea creatures and the colourful myriad of Amazonian displays which are sure to amaze young and old alike. There is also a coffee shop and gift shop at Ocean World.

The Blasket Island Centre

Located in Dun Chaoin, this heritage centre is dedicated to the history, language, culture and unique literary achievements of the Blasket Islands. 

Gallarus Oratory Centre

Built in the 7th and 8th Century this is a remarkable example of an early Christian Church in Ireland which has survived over the centuries.

THE GAELTACHT

This is the term used to refer to those areas of Ireland where the Irish language (Gaeilge) is still spoken as a community language and its cultures and traditions are very much alive and thriving.  The Dingle Peninsula area of the Kerry Gaeltacht is known as Corca Dhuibhne and is renowned for its rugged beauty, rolling mountains, sparkling lakes, haunting woodlands and golden sandy beaches. 

DINGLE (An Daingean)

Dingle is the most westerly town in Europe and is often referred to as "the next parish to America".  Piled high with majestic mountains and fringed with quiet unpolluted beaches this colourful holiday destination is a haven for walkers, golfers, surfers, sailors, sightseers and deep sea fishermen.  The town offers a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants which make full use of the fresh seafood that is landed at the harbour each day.  This is a Gaeltacht with something for everyone on Europe's final Western Frontier. 

EXTRA CHARGES

Please note that electricity is an extra charge and must be paid for prior to arrival at time of booking.  Electricity is charged at the daily rate of €6.00 during June, July and August and €10 per day at all other times of the year.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of €100.00 euro for week-long stays and €200.00 euro for stays any shorter than this must be given to the supervisor on arrival. This must be cash. This will be returned to you within 7 working days, provided the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of the rental have been complied with.  If you are taking 2 or more houses the security deposit is E250.00 per house.
 

**Please note Ard na Mara is a family orientated site & reserves the right to decline all adult or group bookings.**

Cots & highchairs can be requested with Dream Ireland. Unfortunately requests for more than one cot & highchair cannot be guaranteed in July & August.

The Management at Ard na Mara cannot cater for Sunday arrivals.

All Adult Groups Must Be Pre Arranged With Dream Ireland.

Check-in Details

Possession of your house can be taken between 4.00pm- 6pm.  Houses must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.  It is important that you contact our site Supervisor Ignatius O’Connor  087 9795049 (00353 87 2047550 international) at least 24 hours prior to arrival to arrange your arrival time.  Failure to notify the supervisor of late arrival could result in long waiting times as the supervisor does not live onsite.
