A charming little cottage tucked away just a 5 minute drive from the centre of town and offering spectacular views of Kenmare Bay below.
This is a well-loved little home. It is cosy and inviting and you could just sit at the window. In the garden or on the balcony upstairs all day just taking in the breath-taking views below.
This is an old-fashioned sort of a cottage. It has all the mod cons but it still feels old-style. The open plan kitchen and dining area is so bright and open with floor to ceiling patio doors opening out onto the deck and the garden below. Although compact, the kitchen has everything you will need including oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer.
There are high stools at the counter ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee while reading the day’s news and wifi is available free of charge.
There is a dining area with a table and chairs which is perfect for sitting down together to enjoy a meal.
The sitting room is to the rear of the house, so it is lovely in the evenings to light the fire and relax on the couch or in one of the comfy armchairs to watch TV together or just chill out. There is another dining table in here with four chairs which might be nice for a candlelight supper in the evenings.
The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and the main family bathroom with a bath only is upstairs along with the two bedrooms. The twin bedroom is to the front of the house and has a wonderful little balcony leading off it with artificial grass making it a lovely place to site out and take in your surroundings.
The double bedroom is spacious with plenty of storage, and it too has a balcony with artificial grass overlooking the lovely garden to the front of the house. The bathroom lies between the two bedrooms.
Kenmare is known as the jewel in the Ring of Kerry and no wonder with its location between two of the most beautiful touring routes in Europe namely the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. These make for very enjoyable day trips from Kenmare. Kenmare is a designated Heritage Town of Ireland and the town offers a huge selection of places of historical interest to visit. Even strolling around the town is itself a pleasure. Kenmare offers an incredible selection of fine restaurants. Chose from a simple pizzeria up to a high end restaurant. The town is also home to a wonderful array of pubs and many of them have live music during the week and at weekends. Kenmare lies approximately 30 minutes drive from a host of sandy beaches and it has a very pretty harbour from where you can swim or fish.
