Rossbeigh Beach View House overlooks 4 miles of golden sandy beach in Rossbeigh. These stunning semi detached properties are Irish Tourist Board approved (Bord Failte) & have a 4 star rating.

The cottages are built to very high specifications & comprise living room with satellite TV, DVD, CD Player & open fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen & bathroom. One ground floor ensuite bedroom. The remaining two bedrooms are on the first floor complete with bathroom.

Cois Farraige Restaurant and the adjoining Ross Inn are situated just a few hundred yards from Rossbeigh Beach View House, and just at the end of Rossbeigh Beach. Seafood is the speciality in the restaurant - all of the fresh fish on the menu is landed daily from local harbours such as Cromane, Kells, Portmagee and Dingle - and there is an extensive wine list.

Available locally: - "Burkes Activity Centre" is only a short stroll away. Here one can avail of a host of activities including Horse Trekking, Crazy Golf, & Animal Pet Farm.

Pony Trekking & Horse Riding can be enjoyed on the beach, mountain tracks & quiet country roads.

The Blue Flag Rossbeigh beach is a magnificent 4 mile stretch of sandy beach & dunes, ideal for children.

Rossbeigh Beach View House is set into the base of Rossbeigh Hill and from this sheltered location they have a commanding view of 6km of sandy beach.

On this superb mountain/seaside location it is possible to enjoy a wide range of activities; bathing, walking & Climbing, pony trekking and horse riding, fishing, surfing

Glenbeigh village is a pleasant scenic 3km walk from Rossbeigh beach.

Rossbeigh is on the Ring of Kerry, the most famous touring route in Ireland, and close to many holiday attractions and conveniences.

Killarney is less than 30 minutes by car, where you will find the renowned Muckross House and Gardens, Killarney National Park, Killarney Model Railway and many other attractions. You can complete the Ring of Kerry by driving south through Cahirciveen, or visit the rugged island of Valentia.

A selection of fine golf courses are available in south Kerry, including Dooks Golf Links (7KM), Waterville (30KM) and Killarney (25KM). Other attractions within a short drive from Rossbeigh include the Aqua Dome Indoor Waterworld in Tralee, Crag Cave in Castleisland and boat trips to see Fungi the Dolphin in Dingle.

Beach - Rossbeigh is renowned for its 7km sandy blue flag beach and is safe for swimming, surfing and canoeing.

Touring - Glenbeigh is on the famous Ring of Kerry route which takes in Cahersiveen, Waterville, Sneem, Kenmare, Killarney and Killorglin. It is an ideal place for touring the beauty of Kerry and West Cork.

Mountain climbing & Hill Walking - It is a walkers paradise with so many different types of walks from Irelands highest mountain peak - Carrantouhil (1040m) above sea level or to the many less demanding  hikes through forests, valleys and hills - many with breathtaking views.

Golf - The following challenging 18 hole golf courses are within easy reach of Glenbeigh - Killarney's Mahonys Point, Kileen and Lacabane. Killorglin, Beaufort, Tralee. Links 18 hole golf courses at  Ballybunnion, Waterville and Dooks.

Horse Riding - There are a number of equestrian centers located around the region with facilities to suit all levels form the beginner to the advance rider.

Cycling - For the cyclist there are a selection of established routes that are mapped and signposted through the mountains, valleys and country lanes taking in special places of interest on you journey. Bikes for hire locally.

Fishing & Angling - Carragh Lake, Behy & Laune River which connects the famous Lakes of Killarney to the Atlantic Ocean. Also excellent shore and deep sea angling trips available.

Outdoor Pursuits - Orienteering, canoeing and sailing instruction at Cappanalea, hang-gliding and windsurfing at Rossbeigh.

PLACES TO VISIT:

  • Skelligs - visit the Great Skellig island a huge mass of precipitous slate rick, 715 ft. above the Atlantic, where a well preserved monastery with its long flight of stone steps, brings back the atmosphere of early Christianity. Small Skellig is one of the great gannetries of the world. Licensed boat trips available.
  • Skellig Heritage Centre -  Located on Valentia Island.  Modern interpretative techniques are used to tell the story of Skellig Michael.
  • Killarney - With its famous lakes, Ladies View, Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, Aghadoe and  Muckross House surrounded by its National Park of 26,000 Hectares, known for its wildlife and grazing herds of Red and Sika Deer. Also renowned for their rhododendron species, hybrids and azaleas, formerly know as Muckross Estate. Enjoy some of the many famous walks through the estate.
  • Dingle - Dingle peninsula and town - a very worthwhile trip, which has some of the finest and wildest scenic beauty in Ireland, taking in the O'Connor Pass and Tralee on your return journey home.
  • Tralee -  Famous for its International Rose of Tralee festival every year. See the visitor Attractions at the Ashe Hall, Blennerville Windmill, Siamsa Tire, the Aqua Dome and the Kerry Greyhound Track.
  • Staigue Fort -  Sited near Castlecove, Ireland's best preserved Ring Fort, circa 1000 BC.
  • Derrynane House - Home of 'the Liberator', Daniel O'Connell, which is now a museum and park.
  • Gap Of Dunloe - Beaufort. Famous for it's scenery and pony trekking across the famous Gap of Dunloe.
  • The Coast Road - A ' grand corniche' drive to the south of the village giving spectacular views of Dinble Bay and its environs.
  • The Kerry Bog Village - Situated at Ballycleave; go back in time in this reconstructed pre-famine village.
