The last Dingle marathon was a roaring success and the countdown is immediately on for the next one which will be held 7th September 2013. Both the half and full versions will be run on the day and encompasses some of the most breathtaking views (for competitors and spectators alike,) that Dingle has to offer. This particular marathon takes place in the finest locale of the Dingle Peninsula, so it’s definitely worth showing up just for that. It travels through the unique and utterly charming village of Ventry, to finish up in the most westerly part of the County, Dunquin. It is a beautiful run which will stay with the participant for a very, very long time.
