Description
Set in a secluded private area within the Killary Adventure Estate, Killary Lodge is a particularly large, exclusive hideaway within the wilds of Connemara in Co Galway. Sleeping up to 36 people in 10 handcrafted bedrooms, this is the perfect place for a getaway with extended family or friends or indeed for a team building work break with colleagues.
The Lodge is accessed by a private laneway and there is plenty of parking. You will be met on arrival and keycards for the bedrooms will be given for your privacy and security should you so wish. We will require a breakdown of who will be staying in each of the ten bedrooms so we can ensure that the configuration meets your requirements in advance of your stay.
The main living area is spacious and comfortable with plenty of space to relax and unwind. It offers direct access to the outside area with fire pit, BBQ and outdoor furniture – such a wonderful place to gather in the evening and enjoy the tranquillity and peace that the Lodge offers.
The kitchen is really well equipped to cater for a large number of guests with a double oven/grill/hob combo, fridges, freezer space and an industrial sized filter coffee machine. In addition, all the crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils you will require are provided.
The dining table is large enough to seat up to 36 people so should you wish to all gather together at mealtimes, this will be possible. If you would prefer not to cook, we have private catering options available so please enquire with us directly.
The back kitchen has another fridge along with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
One of the special features of the Lodge is the large Event room which offers an ideal meeting space with projector and whiteboard, but similarly, it can offer a big TV room, ideal for hooking a laptop (HDMI) up to the projector and watching a movie on the big screen. Bring the beanbags in for additional comfort!
There are two guest toilets downstairs – one of which is wheelchair accessible.
Of the 10 bedrooms, four are located downstairs – rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4. Room 4 is wheelchair accessible and can be made up as a king-sized bed or two single beds. All bedrooms are ensuite.

Please note that the prices quoted on our website are for up to a maximum of 20 people. For every additional person who stays, up to the maximum capacity of 36 people, an additional per person per night charge of €36 will apply and will be payable to Dream Ireland 8 weeks prior to your arrival along with the balance of payment.
The remaining six bedrooms are upstairs and there is a lift that can be activated if required for accessibility purposes. Again all bedrooms are ensuite. Here is a breakdown of the bedrooms and their configurations:

Guests have full access to the Estate during their stay including a lovely private swimming area and a Scandinavian sauna, each just a stone’s throw from the Lodge. Please note that should you wish to use the Sauna, there is an additional charge. Please enquire with us directly.
PETS
Dogs are welcome but it is essential that you let us know you are bringing them in advance of your stay. An additional charge of €100 per dog applies and it is important to note that there are two dogs in residence on the Estate. You will also be expected to pick up and clean up after your dogs.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
CLEANING CHARGE
Regardless of your length of stay, a cleaning charge of €500 euro will apply to your booking. This must be paid in advance of your stay to Dream Ireland.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Upon arrival, you will be asked for credit card details as a €2000 security deposit will be required as a pre-authorisation on the card. This will be released back onto your credit card 48 hours after you leave providing the onsite team is satisfied that there have been no breakages, damages or excessive cleaning required following your departure.

CONNEMARA
BOOKING DEPOSIT
A non-refundable booking deposit of €1600 euro is payable at the time of booking with the remainder due for payment 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
