The Great Western Greenway is an off road trail in Co Mayo, that stretches from Westport and ends in Achill passing through Newport and Mulranny and running along the incredible sights of Clew Bay.  The whole way dotted with an awesome array of exotic plant life and fauna, including giant fuchsias.  In fact the whole way along this trail is full of ever changing variety of scenery, as its splits to the tops of the mountains, down to the lower villages and seaside coves, through charming little towns and historic places of interest.  Mulranny has many other things to do including, nine hole golf, great restaurants and lively traditional pubs, which are speckled along the coast of its blue flag beaches.
