Located in Achill Sound, just a five-minute walk from the village, is this large, newly renovated cottage (105Msq). Set on two acres of private land, Corraun View has direct access to the sea. Ideal for family or friends looking for a break away in the West of Ireland.
This is a large single-storey cottage, with all rooms accessible on the ground floor. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences required such as electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Whether you enjoy dining at home or exploring the local restaurants, all home-from-home conveniences are available to suit your stay. The kitchen is at the back of the cottage, so has lovely views down towards the sea.
The centre of the house has a fantastic bright sunroom/dining area with a large table big enough to seat up to eight people. After a day out and about, why not enjoy a glass of wine and a home-cooked meal while taking in the wonderful sea views. Steps from the sunroom will take you outside to the large south-facing patio area, ideal for sitting out and taking in the breath-taking views of the Corraun and Knockmore mountains and the incredible stars in the dark skies above.
The spacious sitting room features a large open fire. A unique addition to the property is the pool table at the far end of this spacious room for hours of entertainment. Also a couch and armchairs along with TV and sound system at the other.
The property has three bedrooms – two double bedrooms and one with two single beds. Extra sleeping options are available as the sitting room couch converts out into a double bed. There is a guest toilet along with the main bathroom with a pumped shower.
The house is heated with oil fired central heating, as well as two storage heaters.
There is ample car parking for 3-4 cars.

Due to the location of the Cottage surrounded by mountains, we cannot currently offer Wi-Fi. The mobile broadband connection though from your mobile phone is good.
PETS allowed on request. Euro 30.00 is payable on site.
LOCATION
A five-minute stroll will bring you to Achill Sound village and local amenities including pubs, cafes, hotels, a children’s playground, a large SuperValu supermarket, a pharmacy and hairdresser.
There is easy access to the Achill Sound Greenway stop on the Great Western Greenway and bike hire is available locally. A local ferry also runs from nearby Achill Island to Clare Island, providing access to the Clew Bay Bike Trail.
Just a 15-minute drive will get you to some spectacular Blue-Flag beaches including Keel, Keem and Dugort and there are some wonderful hiking options locally at Slievemore and Croughan.
