Filleadh na Fainleog’s literal translation is The Swallow’s Return. This beautifully restored traditional farmhouse was erected in the historical year of 1916 and is filled with a richness of Irish culture, music and folklore. Lovingly and sensitively restored using original flagstone and ash from trees on its own land, this home offers a unique experience to steep yourself in rare beauty. While the array of mod cons provides all the luxuries and comforts of living in today’s world, the sense of place, both past and present, is the ultimate experience that will stay with you and leave you longing for the first opportunity to return.
Filleadh na Fainleog is situated on the edge of the Burren just a 5 minute drive from the market town of Ennistymon in County Clare and an 8 minute drive from the seaside resort of Lahinch on the Wild Atlantic Way. The village of Kilfenora is also close by and is renowned worldwide for its traditional Irish music.
