Kenmare will come alive this July with a food carnival that will highlight the very best of local food in a unique fun atmosphere. Kenmare has been well known for its outstanding hotels rated among the best in the world and its many restaurants that win awards every year. Many of Ireland's best artisan food producers will come together. This weekend is an opportunity to meet them and sample their wonderful produce.

The Drinks quarter will feature Organic Wines, Craft Beers and Cider and a Whiskey journey. The Foodie forum will be on hand organising demos with such esteemed Chefs as Martin Kajuiter, Cliff House Hotel Waterford and Master Butcher Jack McCarthy Kanturk.

There will be a "Truly Scrumptious" Parade with stunning displays of Colour and Drama. Little Foodies will get the chance to partake in some gardening, pasta making and Chocolate tastings! James from Jam Cafes our main sponsor will be holding a special cookery demo in his Award Winning Bakery. Mundy will be performing in the Carnegie Arts Centre 9pm and Miriam Lambert will be putting on "The Gingerbread Man" puppet theatre at 4pm which is sure to attract a big crowd from Killarney, Sneem, West Cork and surrounding area. Local Artists are coming together to display their creative works. Mike O Toole famous Food Photographer will be exhibiting in the Skyline Gallery and a retro carnival will be located in the town centre for everyone to enjoy. It promises to be a spectacular weekend in Ireland's Foodie Town.
